Some hotel style party nights in Birmingham can be quite predictable and costly for small and exclusive parties so it makes sense to fill the room with shared Christmas parties to make the venue come to life, save you money and even have chance to meet new people. Some might prefer a more intimate event, we all know that I.T would, but you see those same faces at work every day and I am sure everyone is more likely to liven up and feel less conscious of the boss watching if there are other groups in the room. On the other hand if it’s too big, the personal touch gets lost, the NEC and ICC are both reputable for holding Christmas parties but a venue like that still holds the reputation of concert, convention or exhibition.. You want to break away from the office environment and be surrounded by a complete party atmosphere. So finding the balance between the two is key. The Regency on Hagley road is a Brand new venue which feels like it totally had ‘party’ in mind when it was designed. All the sound, lighting and LED are integrated so there is no chance of Shirley from HR tripping over the speaker on the dance floor when she has had one too many red wines.

We are called Moonlight and Mistletoe for a reason, Christmas is always starry and the moonlight reflects that, creating the mood in which to feel festive, the mistletoe… well we all know what that’s used for in this day and age but traditionally mistletoe has been one of the most magical, mysterious, and sacred plants of European folklore. It was considered to bestow life and fertility; a protection against poison; and an aphrodisiac. It was gathered at both mid-summer and winter solstices, and the custom of using mistletoe to decorate houses at Christmas is a survival of the Druid and other pre-Christian traditions. Kissing under the mistletoe is first found associated with the Greek festival of Saturnalia and later with primitive marriage rites. They probably originated from two beliefs. One belief was that it has power to bestow fertility. It was also believed that the dung from which the mistletoe would also possess "life-giving" power. In Scandinavia, mistletoe was considered a plant of peace, under which enemies could declare a truce or warring spouses kiss and make-up so maybe you should hang it over the office rivals.

Look out for the Mistletoe which will be strategically placed at our Office Xmas party so grab that office crush.

We tick all the boxes and our exclusive venues will take you on a magical Christmas journey because we have strong relationships with suppliers such as caterers, entertainers and décor specialists. We know exactly how much things cost and where individual companies make their money so not only can we save you money on the whole by the night’s package but we also negotiate with them. Our experience tells you that we know what works and what doesn’t work at Christmas parties and venues are a major factor when taking the hassle away from whoever has the obligation to organize it albeit secretary, PR team or social committee which takes time and potentially diverts attention from every day duties.

Something that we have focused heavily on is turning an event from being an event into an experience.
